IT'S ONLY THE BEGINNING

Tiffany's Graduation

The day before we left for Ponderosa our youngest grandchild, Tiffany Brannon, graduated from 8th grade...

...with high honors including membership in the Junior National Honor Society.

She will take AP classes at Youngker High School in Buckeye.

Bella loves her Aunt Tiffany!

Our 6th year at Ponderosa!

Our "home away from home!"

We arrived in time for the high school graduation reception of Alex Bauer, one of our "adopted kids" at camp.

July Karr is another "adopted kid" who works in the dining hall.  She and her brother, Hosea, are from Burma and recently became American citizens.  We are proud of them!

Staff Orientation

A youth choir from Shawnee, Oklahoma who was here to do ministry projects and concerts in the Colorado Springs area, serenaded us at one of the meals.

Good friends, Lew and Linda King, are working and providing ministry in the Grand Junction area.  It is always good to visit with them.

Hymn sing, led by composer/arranger Paul Ferrin and his wife, held at Orchard Road Christian Center in Denver.  We actually used hymnals and sang songs we grew up singing!

Last year we experienced smoke from the fire in Colorado Springs.

This year, we woke up to heavy fog.  I'll take the fog any day!

Several trees in camp succumbed to bark beetles during the year.  A group from Claremore, OK used their skills to cut down the trees and then carved this trunk into a cross.
